Korea animal rights activists need help

Nureongi dogs, thought of as "livestock," "meat" dogs in Korea

Nureongi dogs, thought of as “livestock,” “meat” in Korea

To make helping koreandogs.org a bit easier…

The goal of course is to shut down dog/cat meat markets in South Korea. Here’s a call-in, letter and/or email campaign with all contact info you might need, sample letters, and some IMPORTANT NEW PETITIONS (see links below). It will take some time and effort, but think of the dogs & cats, and please help. I did most of it (except for the phone calls & snail-mail letters), or I wouldn’t be asking others to help…the animals deserve this from us at the very least…thank you!

All the PETITIONS, several NEW: http://koreandogs.org/petitions/

Sample letters: http://koreandogs.org/what-you-can-do/contacts-for-protest/sample-protest-letter/

Convenient email blocks you can use…

Note – It’s best to send the 16 or so emails and not send to all 250+ in same email or you may be marked a spammer. Please note that when I sent them, about 60 (about 1/4 of total) came back undeliverable, but that still leaves nearly 200 sent:

  1. Well done! That’s quite an extensive list, thank you. I will get right on to it. It’s very difficult to read and see the plight of these most unfortunate animals. I have very close relationships with dogs as do you I imagine. I never fail to be shocked and horrified by this abuse. I cannot understand how people can do this, at all. Thankfully there are good people like you who are trying to bring it out in the open.

    • @indeep27: It is absolutely unfathomable that human beings are capable of such behavior, towards ANYONE. In another dog-eating culture…Taiwan…a man murdered his ex-girlfriend on the street with a meat cleaver, sexually molested her dead bleeding body, then finally turned the cleaver on himself but didn’t die, and all this was out in the open with traffic going by, and it took forever for someone to summon the police. And in China they’ve had several instances of men going in to schools and stabbing small children to death. And baby fetuses are eaten by certain “connoisseurs” in these cultures as well, more often girls because they’re more “unwanted” and aborted. Dog eating is a serious marker for subhuman cruelty and disregard for ALL life, not just animals; and the countries that still tolerate people consuming dogs are: China, Indonesia, Korea, Mexico, Philippines, Polynesia, Taiwan, Vietnam, the Arctic and Antarctic and two cantons in Switzerland. Wow, what a SICK place people have made of this world. Spreading veganism worldwide is the best way to end this insanity. Thanks for your comment and your help.
